Andrea Diani
Associate Professor
Andrea Diani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padova. He earned a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Padua. In 2015, he received the UIT Award for the best PhD thesis in the field of thermofluid dynamics for the 2013–2014 period, and in 2016, he was awarded a EUROTHERM Young Scientist Award. His main research activities include: flow regimes of low GWP refrigerants inside microfin tubes; two phase heat transfer (flow boiling and condensation) inside microstructured surfaces; two-phase heat transfer (pool boiling and condensation) outside enhanced tubes melting of PCMs inside 3D printed structures and inside metal foams; single phase heat transfer inside metal foams
