Giulia Righetti
Associate Professor
Giulia Righetti is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Engineering. She graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padova in 2012. She earned her PhD in “Industrial Engineering”, course of “Energy Engineering”, from the same University in 2016. Her dissertation focused on the application of innovative refrigerants with low environmental impact for refrigeration and thermal control. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the University of Padova, and she is part of the team of the TEI Research Group. Her research activity is mainly devoted to the two-phase heat transfer measurements in smooth and microfin tubes as well as to phase change materials (PCMs) for thermal energy storage (TES) applications. Her research contributions have been published in more than 100 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and in more than 60 conference proceedings presented at international and national conferences.
