Nima Irannezhad
PhD Student
Nima Irannezhad is a PhD candidate at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padova, where he conducts research under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Diani. His main research interests include the experimental investigation of flow boiling, condensation, and pool boiling, with a specific focus on the enhancement of two-phase heat transfer through passive surface structure modifications. One of his most notable contributions is the development of models for predicting two-phase regimes inside micro-fin tubes, a core topic of his master’s thesis. His work also involves the characterization of low-GWP zeotropic mixtures and the use of numerical simulations to improve the efficiency of thermal-fluid systems. In addition to his academic work, he is an active athlete with C.U.S. Padova, competing in official FIDAL events.
