Stefano Bortolin
Associate Professor
Stefano Bortolin is associate professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padova. He received his PhD from the University of Padova in 2010. In 2017 he was visiting researcher at the Laboratoire Plasma et Conversion d'Energie, Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, France. His research interests include condensation and flow boiling inside small diameter channels, dropwise condensation over modified wettability surfaces, microgravity condensation, frost formation, computational thermo-fluid dynamics, new refrigerants and heat pumps. Scientific responsible for national research projects, he is inventor of one European patent. He participated in EU-funded projects and in projects funded by European Space Agency (ESA).
